Our Verdict
I recently put the Smart Cover Case for iPad through its paces to see if it truly handles the daily grind of a busy commute. Given that it fits models like the iPad 9.7 and Air 2, it is a practical solution for keeping older tablets relevant and protected in 2026.
Performance & Build Quality
The PU material feels reasonably durable for a budget-friendly shell and provides a decent grip during transport. Its folding kickstand design is robust enough to hold the device at a stable angle, though the hinges will benefit from gentle handling over time.
Day-to-Day Experience
Using the integrated stylus holder has been a game changer for keeping my accessories organized in my bag. The case snaps onto the iPad securely, and the folding cover works exactly as expected for propping the tablet up for video calls or typing.
This is an excellent pick for students or casual users who need a low-cost, all-in-one protective solution for their older iPad models.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I give this case a 4 out of 5 for its functional design and solid protective features. At $27.02, it is a smart investment if you want to extend the life of your device without breaking the bank.
